While gay men have been largely impacted by HIV, it is not a disease that discriminates. HIV/AIDS infections happen to people of every race, gender and sexuality. As such it is important for everyone to get tested regularly and to take preventative actions to lessen the risk of transmission. Including but not limited to the use of Truvada or Descovy for PrEP
YOU CAN TAKE PREP ON DEMAND
In order to be most effective, you must take your PrEP every day. Taking PrEP sporadically does not provide a sufficient amount in the bloodstream to prevent transmission. PrEP is protection and as such, you don’t have to be having a ton of sex to use it. Being on PrEP make your sex safer, whether you’re wild or not
